Rhinology Clinic at Mauranui

I offer a specialised practice that is wholly focused on the management of conditions affecting the nose, sinuses and medial skull base. This includes medical and surgical management of rhinitis and chronic sinusitis (particularly refractory cases), nasal obstruction, and benign and malignant tumours of the sinuses and skull base. Extended endoscopic procedures, including the closure of CSF leaks, dacrocystorhinostomy and medial orbital decompression (in association with an oculoplastic surgeon), are also part of my practice.

I work closely with a clinical immunologist and allergist (Dr Marianne Empson, FRACP, FRCPath), so that the potential role of allergy or immunodeficiency in inflammatory nasal and sinus conditions can be diagnosed and managed appropriately.

Ascot Radiology has recently installed a state of the art CT scanner in Mauranui Clinic, so it will usually be possible to have CT scans performed on the day of consultation. This scanner and its radiologists will be focused on the management of ear, nose and throat conditions

Mauranui Clinic is a new, purpose built suite of specialist consulting rooms situated opposite Dilworth School at 86 Great South Rd.

My practice is an affiliated Southern Cross Provider.
